Like the rest, we were by nature objects of wrath. But because of his great love for us, God who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions- it is by grace you have been saved. (Ephesians 2:3-5 NIV)
You are an object of grace. You are no longer an object of wrath. God’s grace covers over your past, your present, and your future. Grace covers all. You are now an object of grace, not an object of wrath.
Objects of grace understand where they have come from. They understand more and more every day how much grace God shows them. Objects of grace understand where they are today: in the grace of God. Objects of grace understand where they are going: into the grace of God.
God saves us, and God sustains us by his grace.
We are by nature objects of grace.
As an object of grace, we should exert an lifestyle of gratitude. A lifestyle of gratitude towards God through obedience, and a lifestyle of gratitude towards others through love.
Objects of wrath live for themselves. Objects of grace live for God and others.
